Happy Labor Day!
Danielle has had a bit of a tough weekend. She was still running a bit of a fever on Friday evening but Saturday she was completely fine. That’s very typical behavior of this disease. I think she hit an all time high with 9 episodes of vomitting or retching Friday. By Friday evening though she was looking a lot more comfortable. Then Sunday, whamo! 103.0 again. She did have a couple of smaller seizures. She responded well to Advil which sometimes doesn’t happen. By 6:00 she was back to baseline temp.
Even though she wasn’t feeling her best we did have some company over yesterday and I know she liked hearing the sounds of everyone enjoying themselves. Especially Anthony running around screaming and chasing monsters…..lol!!!! I’m hoping she’ll be feeling much better and will be able to attend school tomorrow. Anthony’s first day of preschool is tomorrow as well. He’s so excited.
